The king of baitcasters has once again been re-crowned with the latest model taking it to the next level. Daiwa Japan have created a true masterpiece, flawless in performance and design, staying true to the Steez name.

The STEEZ has further evolved with a new concept. The new compact body has been achieved by equipping the reel with a new 30mm diametre G1 Duraluminium CT SV spool. The CT SV spool which has very low start-up inertia has realised a feel in the cast that surpasses reels of the past, covering the range of finesse applications as well as versatile performance.

Made from Daiwa’s Air Metal (Magnesium) the STEEZ CT SV TW’s new lightweight, low profile frame has been designed to create a Compact and Tough base to house many of Daiwa’s newest and most advanced baitcaster technologies. The STEEZ CT SV TW is the most advanced baitcaster in its class and is a perfect fit for those targeting Australia’s native freshwater species.

The new size TWS has been designed to suit the CT SV spool, with its innovative pivoting t-shaped line guide delivering unparalleled casting performance and line control. The T-Wing System creates less line angle from the spool in comparison to conventional line guides. The reduction in friction created as line flows off the spool greatly improves line control and casting distance

A precision machined solid ‘Air Metal’ frame and gear side plates deliver lightness, durability and reliability, while the STEEZ CT SV TW ergonomically designed profile fits beautifully in the palm of the hand for ultimate comfort and control.

Casting control has now reached a new level of ease in the STEEZ CT SV TW with the Zero Adjuster, ‘Air Mode’ and Magforce Z combining to create the ultimate casting experience. ‘Air Mode’ brake system introduces automatic adjustment; supported by a movable induction rotor which enables the use of finesse style baits without the risk of backlash.  Zero Adjuster paired with Magforce Z cast control adjusts easily to any skill level, and allows the spool to start up faster, and spin longer for easier and longer casts.

CRBB

Lasting 12 times longer than standard stainless-steel bearings Daiwa’s CRBBs feature specially treated stainless steel, and a protective shield on the bearing race that seals out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives. The result is a longer lasting bearing that’s protected from the corrosive elements that destroy traditional bearings.

DIGIGEAR

Daiwa’s first generation of digitally engineered gear design ensures a perfect mesh between ultra-tough alloy drive gears and marine bronze pinion gears for optimized speed, power, durability and smoothness.

G1 SPOOL

Lighter and faster than traditional spools a G1 duraluminium spool allows for faster spool start-up and slowdown, and improved rotational balance.

INFINITE ANTI REVERSE

Daiwa's advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.

Daiwa Air Spool/Air Brake is a spool and cast control combination that allows feather light lures to be cast with ultimate ease and performance.

MAGFORCE Z

The next generation of Daiwa’s magnetic anti-backlash system like Magforce V before it combines the best aspects of modern magnetic and centrifugal breaking, albeit with some slight differences. Unlike Magforce V magnetic braking is only applied at maximum spool speed, as a result it allows the spool to reach a higher peak speed and allows it to spin for longer. Magforce Z is considered to be best suited to longer casting pursuits and heavier weights.

MAGNESIUM BODY

Reels featuring a magnesium body are significantly lighter than conventional alloy bodied reels. Daiwa’s magnesium, Air Metal, technology processes the magnesium in a unique way that results in full corrosion resistance.

SV SPOOL

Daiwa’s SV spool delivers a superior level of versatility, application and performance.

TWS

Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle, minimal friction and constriction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.

UTD-DRAG

A system that combines ultra-smooth low inertia with ultimate fish stopping power. UTD combines advanced carbon washers, alloy and stainless-steel drag plates with specially designed grease for ultra-smooth performance.

ZERO ADJUSTER

Thanks to the revolutionary SV-Concept, it is no longer necessary to adjust the Mechanical Spool Brake Knob when casting. Perfect Zero Adjuster setting is when the spool shaft is held without side to side spool play. Appropriate brake power adjustment is now fully manageable with only the use of the Magnetic dial.
