SPIRAL X CORE

A high-quality carbon tape is glued into the rod core with a high-strength resin which results in increased strength in all directions. Compared to rods without Spiral Core X, the blank is 2.5 times stronger and the strength.

SHIMANO C14+ REEL SEAT

In addition to using high-end Fuji reel seats, Shimano has designed a number of models in-house. These Shimano engineered models make it possible to use specialised reel seats for different types of rods. The usage of the highly technical material C14+ creates an ultra-light reel seat.
